The Congress of South African Trade Unions in the province say it’s all systems go for the planned national shutdown.

The strike will be about fighting against the ongoing Job losses that are taking place across all the sectors of the economy.

Provincial secretary Edwin Mkhize says the job summit held by President Cyril Ramaphosa last year failed to end the retrenchment in different sectors.

Mkhize says they are confident that the upcoming strike will yield positive results for workers.
