Political parties have reacted to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s cabinet announcement.
The president announced his executive last night , reducing the size of cabinet from 36 to 28 ministers.
He has brought in a member of the opposition, Patricia de Lille, to head the ministry of public works.
DA leader Mmusi Maimane says they will hold De Lille accountable like any another minister.
EFF leader Julius Malema says the cabinet remains bloated with the increase of unnecessary deputy ministers.
Freedom Front Plus leader Pieter Groenewald has welcomed the return of key ministers including Pravin Gordhan and Tito Mboweni.
Meanwhile ANC’s Secretary General Ace Magashule says there was proper consultation before the cabinet was appointed.
